got a maxi jet - 400 , im trying to plumb into jebao 55 uv for dinos , the maxi jet 400 outlet is like smooth pvc , 1/2 or 5/8 im not sure. How do i connect 1/2 vinyl or 5/8 vinyl to a 3/4 barb jebao connection, i tried boiling it and stretching it , didnt work out for me . Im on my way to home depot within the next 10 mins ! , so if u know would be great thanks ! fitting names ? or something !

You should be able to cobble together a couple fittings to get from 1/2" to 3/4"
Tell whomever you speak to in the plumbing department what you are trying to do. They should have you sorted quickly

You are basically looking for a 1/2" to 3/4" fitting. While that fitting IS available, finding it might be a challenge. If it were me, the simplest way is to get a 3/4" female thread/hose Barb. Then get a 3/4" male thread x 1/2" female thread reducer. Lastly a male thread/hose Barb fitting and screw them all together.
This is kind of hard to visualize unless you have fitting in front of you, but all three parts I mentioned should be readily available at any plumbing supply place that carries Spears brand fittings. The 3/4"x1/2" reducer should be available at home depot
