I have a 110 gallon with 55 gallon sump for total water volume of 165 gallons. I bought this internal overflow kit. It includes a 1in bulkhead and a 3/4in bulkhead. Both bulkheads have barb ends. I am guessing I will use that flexible piping but what size and where do I buy it? How to I secure the tubing to the barb fittings? Do I need any parts between the overflow and return pump or just a tube from under the tank to the overflow and another tube from under the tank to the return pump? Please help I have no clue how to plumb a tank

Tube you can get from home depot or your LFS usually. Just bring the fitting with you to test fit. If you want to order it BRS has all kinds of colors and what not

I would get the same size tubing and I went to Home Depot for mine, Lowe’s may have some also. My tubing was fine as is but I would reccomend those plastic rings that clamp down on it. I also at one point used zip ties before the proper parts and that caused a lot of salt creep.

One tube each way probably works, you could potentially hard plumb it also with some PVC and toss the barbed fittings.

Is there an attachment that will hook up to the barb fitting and allow regular plumping? Is so what are they called?

If you wanted you can do away with hoses and run PVC instead. The barbed fitting probably unscrews.

I'm not finding any luck at lowes or home depot to find anything that can attach to these barbed ends. I'm going to have to replace and complete replump...seems like a waste. What is supposed to connect here ?

Regular tubing should slide over them with a hose clamp to fasten it right?
