Should I go with threaded or slip for the bottom of my bulkheads that come out of my overflow box? I was thinking slip and into a union or would threaded be better, and then into a union incase I had to remove the bulkhead?

Thanks

Threaded leaves you more flexibility, slip with glue a little more piece of mind. Pros and cons to each. I, personally have always gone threaded on all my bulkheads.

I'm in the "more unions...the better camp" (slip and union). Bulkheads are cheap enough to replace if changes are required

Slip for pretty much everything, only thread i have is the pipe connection to the return pump and the return nozzle. Unions will do the job if you ever need to dissemble anything. It will cost more, but if you place them in the right areas, maintenance will be MUCH less of a hassle.
