Hi
I am looking for advice on how to connect a 5/8 hose to a 1/2 push to fit tubing.

Thank you, all advice is appreciated.

Use one of these and a barbed reducer 5/8 to 1/2....

I don't see a adapter for that, can you send me a link to exact one? Thanks

You'll need 2 parts. One that is the 1/2 mur-loc to 1/2 barb (the link in post above) and one that is 1/2 barb to 5/8 barb. Check on line for the 1/2 to 5/8 barb fitting. Shouldn't be too hard to find. One thing, make sure it's plastic...

Or the other option is to use the threaded end of the 5/8 and reduce there to 1/2 inch. Not sure what NPT is on the other end of the 5/8 but that would be an easy find... NPT to barb in different sizes and reducers aren't too hard to find

True! Assuming the other end of the adapter on the plate is standard NPT. If it is, the NPT to 1/2 barb would be the piece I would look for...

Looking at the application I would think the best course would be replacing the elbow and calling it a day, or the fitting inside the existing elbow if possible. Seems backwards to me as your not really reducing your stepping up?

I tried unscrew the fitting in elbow and heard some crack noise. the thing is on super tight, I'm scared to break it. Thanks for everyone's feedback
