Plumbing help?

Hi guys, first time doing my own plumbing on a used setup. So the current usa return pump I got w the setup has a fitting for a 3/4” ID tubing but my problem is at the bulkhead return nozzle. As you can see in the pics the tube doesn’t fit but I’m not sure what to do. If I get a bigger spigot, then I don’t think I’ll be able to find a threaded piece that will still fit the bulkhead no? Any tips would be happily appreciated

Yes, that should reduce the 3\4" return to 1\2" for your bulkhead fitting. Captain Obvious, but you would need 1\2" tubing to connect the bulkhead to the reducer fitting and 3\4" tubing from reducer to barb on return pump. I'm assuming this is for a small(ish) tank?

I would use a hose that fits the bulkhead return & reduce the pump to that.

The threaded piece is a reducer. You should be able to find a threaded-barb elbow that’s the correct size.

If you have any of the big box hardware stores near you, hit up their underground sprinkler system aisle. They typically have that fitting and others.

I always do that. I have drug some pretty weird and large stuff into Home Depot for that exact reason.
