I'm setting up a 40B with a 22 gal sump. Before a glue it all up does anyone have any suggestions of anything I need to change?

are you planning on running a in sump skimmer in the future? other than that, it looks pretty straight foward and will proably get the job done

For now I'm going to have to use my Aqua Remora Pro hang on.(I reached my budget:cry:) later I will add an in sump skimmer.
Good point I should add a union to the overflow line, thanks!

I would put the line that runs to the sump as flex tubing to make things easier. looks good though

Well I got it filled with water (fresh) just to test things out & check for leaks(no leaks, woo hoo!) Now the quandy I have is when I shut the pump off, the water is draining back through the return loc line fittings & therefore I either have to keep the returns pointed up or keep the water level in the sump lower than I'd like. Is there a check valve or something like that you can put in the return line to prevent this? Also my overflow line does have a suction break I think they are called(a little air line coming out of the top of the return,it's a gl*******s 700gpm overflow)
