I had leaks until I got rid of them. You can sometimes grease the seals and get HD unions to seal, but Spears are good for many connect/disconnect cycles. You can get Spears 497 unions from Amazon for about what the junk from HD costs....

thanks for the advice.. I have struggled with the HD ones.. I will order them..

given your color scheme you may want to spend a few $ extra and get Spears schedule 80 (grey) unions.
