My tank is a 75 gallon mixed reef with a 20L used for a Triton sump.

The refugium area is close to 10 gallons which is the largest I could make it to fit the skimmer & return.

I did such a better job with this sump too [emoji4]

It begins with the overflow box I made into a bean animal with smoked glass.

Old sump, out the side door of stand.

I'm currently working on dosing to stabilize the parameters so KH is 8.

Had a lot of fun and had to share so maybe other reefers could get some useful ideas.

Very nice, I'm going to build a triton sump soon. I like how you did the baffle between the refugium and skimmer chamber.

Thanks, I used smoked glass in my prior sump & it really helped to contain algae to only the fuge section. I had trouble with floating macro trying to go over as well so I added the little baffle to prevent it, cool side note is that it acts as a regular baffle helping to remove bubbles from overflow. Got a second plus from it I was not thinking about [emoji4]

My Triton ships tomorrow too!

Received this probe/dosing line holder too from IM off Amazon for $20! It's magnetic which I was happy about.
