will this be good or do i really need a gate valve on the drain. the tank is a 125 gal. dual corner overflow.

so your saying here I should get rid of the gate valves completely on the manifold?FWIW I would never restrict a drain line. Stuff will grow in your plumbing and any restriction runs the risk of clogging and causing water to back up and potentially overflow.
That's why I added the gate valves on the return lines. But I'm not sure if I need gate valves on the drain pipes.The valves on your pump output will have stuff build up inside the lines just like your drain line but it's not going to cause a backup that will overflow your ssytem, just slow down your return flow.
