I have a all-glass with megaflow overflows the drain line calls for a 1 1/4 ID hose so i got the flexspa 1 1/4 id hose problem it slides right on i put two clamps on it still leaks

.I also tried getting the 1 1/4 pvc to screw on the threaded part of bulkhead but it wont screw very far on. i can get it on about three threads . any one have this problem if so what did u do to fix? thanks Jim

Bulkheads are designed to use the internal threads or slip fiting, not the outside which is a non standard thread not tapered pipe threads or NPT like PVC and steel pipe threads. Its probably 1" PVC size on the inside where its supposed to go.

one inch not even close to fitting i tried. what did fit was a plastic drain hose thats 1 1/8 ID but its very thin :( i just picked up a 1 1/4 rubber sleeve that slides over the threads of bulkhead and the 1 1/4 spaflex hose just not sure that wont leak as well

You don't slip it over the outside, you slip or screw it to the inside depending if its slip or thread, thats how bulkheads are used. Forget the outside, its not a standard dimension.

this bulkhead has a ribbed fitting molded for a hose to slide on theres no thread or hole to put a pipe its a barbed fitting directions called for a 1 1/4 ID hose but it slides right on and off a one inch hose wont even come close to going on . but the bulkhead is a solid molded with a barbed end for hose to slide on.
