I just filled my tank for the first time with water from my tap so I can clean it and I stumbled upon a large issue: it's LOUD. Is there anything I can do to stop the bubbles? Can I somehow change the plumbing to make it more quiet? Currently, it seems to be draining in bursts. The water level in the overflow will rise then will drain to the top of the pipe fast all at once. When this happens, a large surge of bubbles will gurgle out of the tube at the bottom. Hopefully these pictures will help.

Google Herbie drains and Bean animal drains for reefs.
There are really over 100K of Youtube videos out there how to build one and it's so easy.

Looks like you have the standard corner overflow drilled tank, with one drain and one return line. If you're not willing to do any other drilling, you'll want to read up on durso drains.
https://www.dursostandpipes.com/ should give you some info.
