Nice! Looks good!
I love excuses to use powertools.
I’m looking to do something similar. Great work! Did it leak?
Yes, after 2 days of running my hydros point leak detector went off while I was at work. I shut the return pump down remotely and it wasn't a big deal at the time because the tank was not stocked at all. I found a leak at the BSPP threaded adapter I made. It took a few days but the water pushed past the blue thread sealant. I pulled it apart, cleaned the blue stuff out, and reassembled with black aquarium silicone in place of the thread sealant and its been solid since. Zero leaks.
I didn't pay anywhere near close to that.Yikes. $300 for a tap for a 2” bspp
Back to the drawing board
Yes, ahh you said 2" yeah... that's probably expensive.yours was for 1” flow sensor though I believe?
Is it 2 - 11 bspp you're looking for?I wonder if anyone on the forum has one already… doubtful, but I’ll give it a shot
2" is the diameter, the other number designates the thread pitch. It's kinda important although for a tap that size there is probably only 1 or 2 tops options.Mmm I’m not sure about the 11 part, 2” bspp though.
