ok my HOB overflows and returns came in today my question is if i have 2 800gph overflows draining into my 55 gal sump fuge and then 2 returns do you think i could get away with moving my 75 to my backrrom and running the overflow (another 800gph) from there into the sump fuge for my DT and use the third return from the sump back to the other room. use i would have 3 return pumps. the main display is a 125 sump/fuge 55 gal and predetor tank tied in 75 gal

I don't think I would trust a hang on overflow plumbed to another room. That's just asking for disaster. If it was drilled it would be no problem.

ive heard all the horror stories of them but me and the u tubes have been nothing but reliable for the last 2 1/2 years so i think ill give it a good go atleast will the 55 handle 2400gph of flow?

really the only problem i see is your flow rates will be less.

no matter what room it is in the chance of a flood are no different. the return and drain lines will just be longer.

thats what i was thinking but i think it will work out and knock on wood me hob have done me great like i said for more than 2 years with no floods or issue and have never lost siphon unless i personally broke the siphon ive always got everything up and going and then i walk over to the power strips and cut everything off (like a power outage) and watch and see what happens so incase a flood tries to happen im there to stop it instead of finding out the hard way
