Attempting to plumb a 225 gal. Reef Ready. Have a Tideline 48 sump w/return pump section at one end of the sump. What's the best way to plumb the returns so that the 2 returns will receive equal amounts of pressure? Or m I over thinking this?

I think it will be fine - not sure if pressure is the question but rather volume. You can prbly regulate this by how your returns are set up and if you have any way to govern the flow.

Will a gate valve be necessary o govern the flow to the return nearest the pump?

Go with 1/2 pvc pipe then u will have more water flow bc pump can fill out smaller pipe faster .and you wont lose power of water

IF YOU HAD TO TAKE A REEFING EXAM, WOULD YOU PASS?
