I see colored plumbing for sale however it’s definitely not cheap, would painting normal white pvc be an option? Either I paint the individual ones or I assemble it and then detach the unions and paint the pieces already glued? I was mentioned this idea by non reed friend and not sure if that could work.

I would recommend krylon fusion. I bought some black pvc from Home Depot that was reasonably priced but I couldn’t find all my fittings in black so I painted those. Just make sure not to paint where they will be connected and glued because you can not get a proper PVC seal through the paint.
