What do you mean 1B secondary drain for noise ? It never makes any noise and it’s submerged 1-2 inches in water.

On the other hand, the C pipe makes noise and is above water. When I adjust the valve, water comes out of the C drain if I close it too much.

Is it the other way around ? C for noise and B for emergency ?
So water should be slowly going into B. Make adjustments to make it silent but water never goes through c unless a nd or b fail.

Perfect, it’s already silent ! There is not much water going into b but it depends on how I adjust the valve.

What’s a « nd » ?

Meant unless a and/or b fail. From what I remember of my bean animal not much water went through be and it was very silent. Mine had the "u" pipes on top of the drain but have seen them without

Thanks for your time ! You don’t have a bean animal anymore ? What do you use ?

Thanks to everyone who helped !

I read every answer again and checked my system and here is how it is :

4A = main drain
1B= secondary drain (submerge 2-3 mm)
3C = emergency drain for noise (above water line)
2D = return
