I have a plumbing related question, due to my display being located on top of a desk I am unable to plumb a sump beneath the tank. My ideal location for the sump would be on the same desk as the display. The water level of the sump would sit around 16" and the water level in the display is 18". I plan on using 3/4 inch pipe and a 400-800 gph return. My question is, would the 3/4 inch pvc be able to keep up with 400-800 gph flow rate at only 2" of fall? I would also consider having two bulkheads in the display to increase safety. If this is a dumb question I apologize, I am neither a plumber or engineer.

You wont get enough flow with that little drop. You might be better off with an all in one tank.
