When we started plumbing the 300g Reef Savvy we knew it was going to be a chore but my husband stayed focus and I believe he did a fantastic job.

Are you able to get to those gate valves on the drains to adjust?

You need to be able to tune it for this style drain, for bean animal and Herbie style drains you have a primary drain that handles 95-99% of the drain and then a secondary drain to handle the rest. In bean animal there is then a tertiary drain in case the first one gets clogged and the second one can’t handle all the flow, Herbie style is just a primary and secondary drain.
