I am installing a new tank (where my old one was) and I am wanting to plumb in my ATO container from my RODI system.
I run an ATO from autotopoff.com. It is a simple double float switch, hooked into a maxijet pump sitting in a container next to the sump. My water mixing station is in my laundry room roughly 20 feet away. Previously, I pumped water through a vinyl hose to fill up my ATO, but I would frequently come home from work to find my the pump sucking air because I forgot to fill it...
I want to run a line from my RODI system to a float valve in ATO container. two questions...
Will running 30' of 1/4 line up and over to my ATO cause any issues with flow (similar to head loss?) I run a booster pump on my ATO if that matters...
I know there is TDS creep for the first minute or two of output; would you run a "t" valve to the ATO, so it stays full, or should I run a valve, so that I can turn it on and off, so I do not have all that TDS creep from filling every time the float activates?
