Hi all plumbing gurus out there.

Quick question.

I am adding a 3 channel manifold, split off from my return. Does it matter if i use a Wye or a T + 45 degree going to the manifold? Any waterflow issues/changes between the two that will make substantial impact? I simply want to go with the best practice but i haven't seen anything online ripping on one or the other in a sump application.

Thanks in advance!

No real difference besides maybe some turbulance. Water would flow equally between the two runs with either once equalized.

I used a T with 2 45's on my return to achieve the correct angles.
