What glue or tape do I use to put my soft pluming together ?

Strip of masking tape ought to do the trick ..... Of course, I have no clue what you're actually asking!

Well I have a pool hose that came with my sump that is connected to pvc and that pvc is into the bulkhead. And my return line I am having vinyl tubing with pvc into the bulkhead a 1" to 3/4 reducer then a female and a barb that connects the hose. So where should the glue and tape come in play and what kind of glue or tape ?

Any hard pvc to hard pvc connection should either use solvent glue if it is slip or thread sealant (not Teflon tape ideally) if threaded. Connecting vinyl tubing to PVC is done with hose barb fittings with thread sealant on the threaded end. Suggest a metal band clamp over the barb end if junction remains dry, an nylon zip tie if it gets wet.
