I finally got my 300dd up and running and noticed two small drips like once every 5 minutes or so coming from the return pump plumbing but it's over my sump area in the center and not making a mess !! Should I cut the pipe and redo it or is it OK to leave it be ?

Much easier and less stressful to fix it now versus once the tank is stocked. Leaks never get better and the salt creep will drive you nuts.
If it's worth doing, it's worth doing right the first time. Don't get in a hurry or put things off either one.

Oh I know but I just didn't feel like cutting everything out !! I bought the system used and I used the plumbing lie it was so it must of leaked before

He put all the tees and couplings tight together so I would have to cut it all out

And it's coming from the return side not the drain just to clear things up

Absolutely 100%.

I work on pools and spas for a living. They have pipe extenders that slide in tight spots so you don't have to redo the whole setup. Put a pic up of where it is leaking

If the original owner did a poor job of plumbing it then now is the time to fix it the way you want it to be. If you are impatient and in a hurry now that is not a good beginning. Take your time and do it right, make it yours and something you will be proud of for years to come. No time like the present.

It's leaking right after the first 90 and right after the second 90

I'm not new to reefing I was just asking cause I bought stuff to do it and didn't get enough fittings so I was asking just to see if i was ok till I go get more fittings !! Thanks for the advise though!!

I'm not in a hurry at all just wanted it to run for a few days to check all the plumbing for leaks , just didn't want to worry about it failing !!

Smart move testing the plumbing. When I built my current 100G reef with 30G sump I assembled and ran everything in my garage for several days before moving it into the house. It's been running for 13 years now with no leaks.
