I would like to redo the plumping on my 120 gal. tank. I know how long it takes the glue to set water tight but, how long is the glue toxic to the fish? So how long do I have to wait from the time I glue the PVC pipe until I can pump water into my tank?

From experience, I have glued and turn on the system after 20 minutes. If you leave the power head/ pumps in the tank running you have all the time you need since the water is circulating and being aerated. An extra plus for time of is to add a small air pump with an air stone to add extra O2 to the water. The fish need more O2 than the corals. The PVC glue says 24hr to completely cure.

You could also look at unions so that you can do maintenance or switch things up later on?
