Plz explain the "uglies" to me when all your LR has stingy hairy translucent stuff attached the the LR.

What is it and how does it happen?

Tank 8yrs old and I just finished a DrTims Waste-Away treatment on top of my reg vodka/vinegar dosing regiment

Looks like a bacterial issue from the carbon dosing

I never did carbon dosing but I believe Reererdood is right.
