I’m interested in knowing what coral this may be, my roommate gave it to me in hopes it would do better in my tank. It was bought long ago and we never really remembered the name, and so Any tips and knowledge is appreciated thank you!

I am thinking probably a favia. Can you post a pic with white light for a better ID?
