Plz identify this shrimp

Hello everyone
I bought this shrimp tonight but i dont know is this really the peppermint or not?
I bought for aiptasia problem and tank is full of reef

Well theyre not peppermints...but stripping doesnt look quite right for a camleback either...

Looks to be a pandalus. Will be a mission to find the exact one

Looks like a Camelback to me. These guys can cause some trouble if you’re not careful. They could go after some corals and other shrimp in your tank. Cool looking though!

To me they don’t have a camel back. How big are they how old are they where did you get them?

They're not peppermints, but also not camel back shrimp. Take a look at the other Lysmata photos and see if you can find any exact matches.

I'd guess L. keukenthali but not 100%...

Same here - but the pics are somewhat blurry - and they may be juveniles quite small -without knowing the size etc - its impossible to know what they are

Looks like a mechanical shrimp or that's what they are called at my lfs

Honestly I dont see this at all - actually - I think they look like juvenile peppermint shrimp. I would not. be posting a picture here and asking - I would be questioning the person from whom I purchased them. I didnt' know there were so many shrimp that looked like peppermint shrimp. And I dont know what any of them look like at 1 week , 1 month, 1 year of age, etc. My guess is you can get a different picture - Which is why I asked the OP to answer - how big are they - where did he get them from etc.

HI - THANKS - I meant - did you order them as peppermint shrimp (or something else) - why do you doubt the place you bought them from? (ie.. was it a private person - or a store)
