I purchased a used kalk reactor off of ebay a while back. When I went to use it I noticed that the joker I bought it from had siliconed part of the mixing pump plumbing back to the acrylic cylinder. I have spent a bunch of hours cleaning off the silicon and grinding the clear glue from PM that held the piece in place originally - doing a little bit at a time to keep from heating the acrylic to much.

This is what I am left with... no cracks in the acrylic, just a scratch from the grinder that looks like one...

I have weldon 16 and 40 on hand but am thinking 10 or something else would be a better adhesive.

So my question is what is going to be the best way to reattach this pvc plumbing piece back to the acrylic tube and is there any additional prep work I should do?
