Okay guys I have questions for you guys. Since finding out that my test kit was faulty after getting a hanna ulr phosphorus checker i have been trying to get my po4 under control. My po4 when i started lowering it was .22 and its been about 3 weeks now and i am still having trouble keeping the levels under 0.1ppm. I am assuming that there is a large amount of p04 leaching from the rocks because i was using that kit for the past 7 months. My po4 overnight will go from .02 to .08 and 3 weeks ago it would go back up to .15 i belive so it is improving. My question is do you guys think this is normal for po4 leaching? I have used so much GFO and has been quite expensive and for the last week i have been using brightwell phosphate-E because of the price. Some of my older sps colonies that were acustom to the higher po4 are not liking the fluctuations and have STN'd and i loat my Strawberry shortcake. How long should i expext it to keep leaching for or do you think my tank is overstocked? I have 80g of water volume and i have a Kole tang, 5 Small half inch chroms , Flame angel, Maroon clown, Leopard Wrasse and a Blue spotted watchman goby. I was dosing Vinegar as a carbon source before i switched to Aquaforest products and my nitrate has never gone above 0.1. What do you guys think i should do some of my colonies look better than ever but the STN has got me pulling my hear out alkalinity and all other params are rock solid...

You chasing your #.
Due to the jumps your SPS are not liking it.
What are your other readings?
ALK
CAL
MAG
No3
PH
ALK = 7dkh (hanna)
CAL = 420 (salifert)
MAG = 1350 (salifert)
No3 = 1 (salifert)
PH = 8.2 (salifert)

That all looks good.
IMO I wouldn't chase the Po4 as much.
Just a extra water change and feeding less will get it under control.
Aggressively chasing it with GFO and other products will only hurt you system if you do it to fast.
Now days a Po4 of 0.10 or higher isn't that bad.
I ran a 90% SPS tank with Po4 at 0.13 and No3 at 8 and corals were looking great, as long you keep the balance but if you bounce as a yoyo that will never be good.

Hmm okay. But you don't think that eventually the po4 will level out? It's always gonna he high in my system?

Yes it can level out as it depends on where it would level out to.
If it does and your system is balanced out pretty good it will find it's lower balance.
It been about 5 months that I tested my Po4 and I can bet looking at my tank and corals that my Po4 isn't changed much, and if I would do a test right now I would test between the 0.10 and 0.15 I just like it that way.

Micro-nano bubbles. I'm a believer. I was burning through GFO like it was going out of style. One week later and my PO4 was so low I had to pull it.

Don't ask me how it works, but my tank loves it!

From what i understand it basically turns your display into a giant skimmer lol. I was thinking about it but still on the fence. Maybe when i get my apex installed i will try and get it going.

I was on the fence up until 2 weeks ago but figured for under $40, and not involving adding chemicals, what could it hurt. I do use an Apex which made it very easy to set up. Shockingly good. The tank even smells better.

Totally forgot about that.
Though my Po4 don't get any lower, but the nutrient and No3 consumption from my corals are high and crystal clear water with no AC.
Just 4 hours during the night and when done right your tank doesn't look like a skimmer at all, you actually have to look for your bubbles with a laser light pointer.
