How long has the tank been running? How long has it been running with Phosphate higher than you'd like?
Also, what are your Nitrate levels? Carbon dosing might not be effective without sufficient nitrate.

If you're talking about a three year old tank and full size colonies or a 3 month tank with happy frags makes a big dif.

tank about 6 months , nitrates was 5 when i last tested, running phosgaurd for a couple of months now , was o.03 when i had algea , but now its clean and thats the phosphate

I'm only a half year or so ahead of you, so hopefully some veterans will chime in.
I would probably stick with what you're doing though. The phosguard is lowering your levels AND the amount you're using is doing it nice and gradual, so that's really pretty ideal.

If nitrate was also a concern, carbon dosing would make sense in a two birds one stone kind of way, but those levels are beautiful.

The nice thing is your corals are happy, so there's no urgency to move your parameters in any particular direction quickly. With that luxury, gradual is almost always the preferred solution.

any1 else have any idea , been dosing nopox again now for two days and still on 0.2. Feed about half a cube mysis or brine shrimp to all my corals and 2 clowns, firefin goby , nesarius snails and two shrimps. Twice weekly i throw in some phyto plankton and feed like a quater of a spoon reef roids . Maybe the phosgaurd is already worn out ? its like a week since its in the reactor.
