I have an issue without a fix. I am having a PO4 issue I am resolving with GFO in a reactor. It was originally 0.61 due to family member way over feeding. Now it is coming down slowly and is now at 0.4. My problem is I will away for work for 60 days and the GFO gets exhausted in 3-4 days and needs to be replenished. I currently have no one to do it and therefore am wondering if there is something else I can do that I haven't thought of. I have a mtce person that comes every 2 weeks for water changes and tests. What can I do between when I leave and he arrives?

Are you running GFO in a reactor? what do you mean the GFO gets depleted in 3-4 days?

I stated i'm running GFO in a reactor and I said GFO gets exhausted not depleted PO4 test at output of reactor should be zero however after 3-4 days it reads .04 which means it is exhausted.

Isn't .04 good for you?

If it is getting in the reactor with 0.4 and getting out with 0.04 it is working pretty well for me.

don't believe that is correct running GFO in reactor the effluent out of the reactor should be zero input to reactor originally was 0.61 after running GFO input now is 0.4 so tank is 0.4 if that is what u were referring to when u said getting out if that makes sense
