I love corals in this family... they are fast growing, hardy, and furry:D. I have 4 or 5 in my 60 cube. Some folks don’t care for them (can’t figure out why) but I like them. If I had a complaint, it would be that the colors available are not as vast as those available in the acro family. Still, I have considered a pocillopora dedicated tank (pocillopora, stylophora, seriatopora). Any thoughts?

If you like them I don't see why you couldn't dedicate a tank to them. They are fast growers and hardy! A lot of people don't like the pocillopora because they spread on their own but its really not a big deal IMO.

Go for it. I have a no poci rule since I cannot have them taking over the entire tank when they decide to spread - you have to almost shut down completely to get rid of all of them. If you want to have a tank with just those three, check out some warmer lights... IMO, they all look really good under 10k lighting and they are very shallow water corals.

I, too, like pocillopora. Attractive, easy, fast growing, inexpensive...

Just be aware, if your pocillopora decides to drop it's polyps, it's going to be EVERYWHERE.

Would be an awesome setup. Love the way Seriatopora grows. My last nano setup was pretty much Seriatopora dominated. IMG_4002.jpeg IMG_3998.jpeg
