I keep seeing these pod type things stuck to my glass or acrylic of sump from time to time. Most the time I see them on the upper part of the glass behind my overflow above the water line. They look hollow and filled with some sort of liquid that almost looks like blood color. Any idea what these are? This one is attached in my sump. Thanks!

These pop up for identification all the time and yet I still don't have an ID. I think they may be terrestrial in nature. I've had them on rock I had laid out to dry and above the water line if the overflow too. I honestly feel it's something that loves warm moist environments to hatch.

Does anyone know of a moth that looks like this?

I lived in a house with roaches that looks like a german roach egg sac. When i lived in that house they loved the reef tank. Some so much they became fish food lol.

I looked up that German roach egg sac and this looks different. The German roach one is much more flat and squared on the ends. These are always tapered to a point on each end. It is also somewhat translucent as you can see the red liquid inside.
