Hey everyone!
I added an Acropora to my tank after only three months( I know.. I know..but it was a cheap one..)
It has been three months in there now and at first it was growing at the base onto my rocks... But then it stopped and started to recede and now STN I believe...
Anyways I know it has seen at least one (if not more) alkalinity swings as I was getting things figured out. Also one salinity (or rather everything) swing when I had an ato problem....
Anyways.....I see something on the dying area today which I hope is just a pod eating off the dead parts...
Maybe somebody here can tell from the video...it is the best I could get.
Looks to move around fairly quick when it wants to...and I think it has antennas.
I am hoping it is just a pod so I can try another Acro if this one dies...

Watch this area in the video...

Does it look like this?

Amphipod and hydroids.

Does it look like this?
I would say it does look like this... I have seen those in my tank... But bigger than this one...but they only come out at night ..

Here are the best pictures I could take .. I'm thinking amphipod...definately does not look like pictures I've seen of Acropora eating flatworms...
