Pod or ? Mating?

I observed this pod, looking thing, running around, rolling, and flicking it’s tail at other smaller pod things.

Is this a pod, reef safe, or remove?

That is not a pod. Pods are needle point size like a grain of sand.

Not a copepod, which is what people tend to mean when they say 'pod' but definitely an amphipod. Harmless CUC member, fish and coral snack. I have tons of them in the tank, all over my frag tank since there are no fish in it. I toss some into the system every so often. Some times after my melanurus goes to sleep, and they make it to the rockwork to live in. Sometimes while he is still prowling, and they tend to not make it to the rockwork then.
