Hello everyone, I'm working on adding a safe haven for my pods, and trying to think this through. Currently nothing is happening in chamber one of my tank, so I was thinking of removing the false floor, and stacking rocks in there so it could be a safe-haven for pods...my only possible issue with that is that chamber one flows into my media basket in chamber 2, and dumps onto filter floss. Will the filter floss trap all of the pods from chamber 1, or would they find a way through or around the floss?

Otherwise I'm thinking of stacking up base rubble in chamber two, next to my media basket so the pods can flow into the tank from chamber 2 to 3, and then into the tank.

Any thoughts would be much appreciated!

Anyone...got my rock rubble coming tomorrow, looking for any guidance...

Chamber one seems like it might be a good spot, but I'm not sure if the filter floss will trap any pods.

Thanks!

Unsure of your entire set up, but I would lean towards not having your pod haven spill into your filter floss. The pods wont really mind, but the floss will inhibit them from going through the chambers and into the display with ease.

Could you access the third chamber and use this as your pod safe haven? Possibly move any equipment from chamber 3 to chamber 1?

Thanks for the response. It's a typical biocube, so Chamber 3 is where the return pump, heater and float valves for ATO are located. Options are either second half of chamber 2, or chamber 1
