So week two of my new tank, and now I'm noticing them on the rocks, on the glass, on the sand, EVERYWHERE. Ive read that this is good, but these guys are taking over. I take it that hermit crabs don't eat them because mine haven't seemed to do much. Does a blue neon goby eat these guys? I'm not trying to get rid of them all because I know they're good. But it would be nice to have something that eats them naturally to keep that population under control. Any suggestions? Also, it a ten gallon so tiny fish only.

Green Mandarin Scooter Dragonet Pipefish Wrasse I hope this help ;)

Ruby red dragonette are a lot of fun to watch...they cruise and graze all day

Red Scooter Blenny would do the trick but I'm pretty sure anything that eats them would wipe out the population of a 10g tank then starve if not supplemented with fresh baby brine shrimp or addition of pods. I've spent $75 stocking me new 90g tank with pods just so I can have a mandarin and RSB in the future!

dragonets are a good choice, and wrasses :)

Banggai Cardinal was a fish I was looking at earlier on but thought it might be too big (or get to big for a 10 gallon). Glad to hear they like to eat these little buggers. The Dragonets/Blenny's (Sorry I don't know the difference), but I was told you need like 30 gallons for those guys.

Oh a 10 gallon? No dragonets then.
