Just noticed my mandarin is getting thin. I checked my sump and chaeto and haven't been able to spot any pods. I know that Copepods are hard to see but I'm not seeing any amphipods either. I see the mandarin picking at the rocks like it's eating so I'm sure there are some but I'm wondering why the sudden decline in pods. I've had the mandarin about 4 years and it's always been fat until now.
Only thing that comes to mind is Bayer dip. I've been using it a lot lately but everything else in the tank is great. Corals and fish are good and there is lots of other life in the tank like worms, snails and asterinas.
Any ideas?
