No problem! I don't think they file fish will Eat many copepods but if you see your mandarin looking skinny or losing body mass, you should research dosing your tank with copepods and or creating a refugium in your sump, if you have one, if not a lot of people have created hatcheries in there tanks, there are many ways to do so, so far i have found many ways to do so in a sump as well! However, you can purchase Cheato(a thick algae, kind of looks like tangled 150lb fishing line that's green colored lol)
Hide it in the back of the tank that gets light and out the copepods in that gently with a turkey basker(be sure to acclimate them, float them at the least [thankfully that's all I've done and my Tanks are covered, haven't bought pods in 6 months at least!] *this method you can do with or without a sump but there are many other ways that some and I might agree that can be easier and better( in a sump or refugium area they can reproduce in peace and wonder their way to the DT!) I was nervous they wouldn't make it to my DT but my DT is so incredibly full of them i can spot them anywhere! Especially at night!
Hope the advice helps!
