I am so happy to say I am inundated with copepods! My 15 gallon tank has only been running for a month this coming Friday. I added a ball of Chaeto 2 weeks ago into my hang on back refugium and I would assume that's where they came from. I started to notice a few of them on the acrylic when the grow light was on at night. Every couple nights I would check and see a few more. Today I was looking at my main tank as I haven't scraped the glass in a couple days and noticed thousands of them plastered all over the glass everywhere you look. I wish I could take pictures of them all cuz I'm just blown away at how fast they multiplied. This is not my first reef but I did take an 8 year break and just recently came back. Never had pods like this before. Wow! Corals be eatin good now. I should get a Mandarin

Still trying to get the Pods to take off in my tank, hopefully soon. A Mandarin will make quick work of the Pods in your 15g.

I have added 6 bottles of pods and Everytime a day later they are not seen. Frustrating but hopefully they are in the rocks. I even took out filter socks for the past 2 days after 3 bottles added

Ya, I don't think I should add a mandarin. That would deplete those pods quick. Plus I'm kind of at my max already for a 15. I have a Black Clown, Orchid Dottyback and a Clown Goby. I'm lucky the pods are doing so well. Especially at only a month old tank. I'm sure the refugium helps. I have a good size Chaeto ball and 2 Mangroves in it and a nice thick layer of Brightwell Aquatics Koral Lagoon Substrat which is supposed to be ideal for that environment.

Yikes! I almost bought a bottle last week, I'm glad I didn't. That really sucks you've bought 6 and had no luck yet. Not sure how or what mine eat maybe there's enough of a macro environment established back in that fuge. They recommend you feed phytoplankton to them but I do not. Do you have any Chaeto?

That's a great aquascape by the way. I'm usually not a fan of those types of tanks but you've done a great job.

Why thank you very much :) It took me a while, 4 trys to get it right. I just added those flat white rocks on Friday and hated where I had them so I pulled all of my rock out except for the base rock and re-stacked! Lol I'm very glad to hear you say that cuz i stepped back after I was done and loved how it looked. There is a lot of rock in that tank! 30 lbs! Another reason why I only want to have 2-3 fish. More focusing on corals. Lots of caves and crevasses for the Dottyback to hide at night when she sleeps. And the Clown Goby I barley ever see lol but he's new so I'm hoping he gets used to his new surroundings and pops out more. Dotty did not like him at first... Eeek. Hopefully she calms down as well. I added the flat rocks because there's a lot of sheer cliffs and it will be hard to place corals on. Any of the glues and puddys don't work worth a ****.

That is a good looking little tank, congrats! I suck at scaping, old school here so I just stack the rock, rearrange it several times and finally just about give up and settle on an "ok looking" scape.

Lol it's something I've actually always loved doing. When I started 18 years ago (when I was 18) the kid that worked at the LFS that used to come clean my tank monthly and I became really good friends. We used to restack rock every few months. It's like moving your living room furniture around lol it's a whole new tank. I wouldn't do it now just because there's not many combinations in that small tank that will fit and I feel that that one is perfect but I got good at it from doing it all the time. Thanks for the props guys. I really need to start a build thread. I've only had the tank running for a month but it's humming along nicely, I'm very pleased.
