Did anyone seed their tanks with pods when they first started...is it a good idea?

I did and waited a few months while the tank was cycling, after 2 years I still see pods every year

You added them while it was cycling, or once it had finished? Have you noticed any population dips after larger water changes?

I did bio Spria then added them a couple days later.

No dont notice any difference in ampapods maybe copeapods but hard to tell.

I'm following the ULM build/cycle that BRS has recommended. As part of that they add pods after the main cycle when you start the fuge, but before fish/DT lights go up.

bunch of pods showed up in the macros I bought, but they have slowly disappeared. Or I stopped looking.
