Pods in a nano tank

hi r2r - I posted this question in my brand new build thread but figured I might get an answer faster here. I’d like to add pods to my 10 gallon nuvo as part of the cuc. The tank currently has a cleaner shrimp and some corals (got the whole set up used).

The question I'm wrestling with now - to add pods should I go for @AlgaeBarn's 5280 pods, which seem like a ton of pods (and maybe even a ton of water) to add to the tank, or do I go for a smaller bottle of pods? I just worry that 5000+ may be overkill in such a small tank and that they'll starve and die. Just wondering what nano tank owners think about regarding adding pods as part of the tanks CuC and biodiversity.

A single bottle will be fine. It's really hard to have too many pods. We would recommend dosing OceanMagik to ensure that there is enough food for the pods while you are getting setup. The corals and cleaner shrimp will also snack on the pods.

Yes, the smallest we sell direct to consumer is the 16oz bottle(the 5280 pods).
