Pods in HOB Fuge

Hi,

I setup an aquafuge2 with sand, live rock, cheato. I seed the tank with tisbe/tig pods.
I see few amphipods popping up. Will the tisbe/tig pods have a chance to populate?

Is it normal for new added sand in existing cycled sand to have diatom bloom?
I used caribsea live fiji pink for the fuge and rest of it, I used in the main tank, over the existing sand,
about 9 months old, I used turkey baster to pull up the nasties few days before adding the new sand.

I also used seachem stability in the fuge and main tank for 2 days, after new sand added.

Yes

As long as you’re feeding a little food with some greens in it or have some alge in the tank , they’ll multiply.

On my hobs it sprinkle a tiny amount of flake food on top of the chato. Usually forced a pod bloom.
