I just cycled my new tank using CaribSea LifeRock, two really small pieces of established dry rock from other tank and that’s it.

I come home yesterday and the glass is covered in pods.

Dont get me wrong, i’m not complaining - I just found it interesting that I have never actually seen pods in my other tank but the rock from that introduced them to new one, no?

That's great !!! Do you have any fish yet?

Got myself a YWG and shrimp.

Not the biggest hunters, so the pods are safe thus far :-D

I had them hatch when I started my newest tank. It came from my dry Caribsea sand. I added the sand then water and then mixed the salt in the tank. They immediately hatched like a large Sea Monkey kit.
