I cross posted this but got no action in fish discussion. Looking for some suggestions here.

So i had ordered a combo pack from @AlgaeBarn of pods & Phyto. I ordered them right before I lost all my fish to Velvet. So my question is to I still put them in my Fuge and DT. Will they over populate since there are no fish. I have cleanup crews, Long Tip Anemone, Rock Anemones, Elegance, Zoas, palys, montis, frogspawns, hammers and some others. I still have a month or so before I can put fish in again. What is everyone's opinion.

The pods and phyto will benefit cleanup crews, Long Tip Anemone, Rock Anemones, Elegance, Zoas, palys, montis, frogspawns, hammers and some others.

They will all benefit!

Happy reefing

The best way to go about keeping Copepods around is to run your own culture. There’s a few different ways to go about it, but it’s tough to get a good copepod population without having to supplement it to compete with predation. They reproduce sexually, so this adds more time before you’ll have a sexually mature Copepod...weeks. I’ve been working with copepods for the last couple of years, as I have started to breed some of my fish. Copepods are probably the best larval food you can provide.
PM me with details on what species of Copepods you are using and what you’ve been feeding them. Each species is unique with different needs. There are thousand of species of Copepods, some you wouldn’t want in your tank...they’re parasitic haha. Let me know how I can help. Here’s a pic of a few newborn striped blennies. They’re about 3 woks old..very cool!!”

@Dimmy007 You will be fine. It will actually allow your copepods to reach a higher population with no fish. The phytoplankton should provide plenty of food, but you may want to ghost feed a little bit of pellets once a week.
