I have 48,000 copods coming in today. Should I just put them in the DT or the section of my sump after the skimmer, but before my return pump? I don’t have a fuge. The section between skimmer and return has some rocks in it.

How big is the DT? What’s the objective?

I seeded my pod population in a 220g with large sump/fuge by adding pods to fuge. I wanted to build the population for wrasses and a mandarin. Took a while, but I have pods in both places now.

If you do add them to the DT, do it at night so they get a chance to hide if you have predators in the tank.

Wow, where did you get the pods? Mine showed up from a piece of live rock that I bought covered with mushrooms and have completely taken over the tank. They are EVERYWHERE!

I ordered them from an amazon seller, 12k per bottle, 4 bottles. I don’t have wrasses or mandarins. I see pods in my tank, I just want a large population to help with the overall health/balance of the tank. It’s a 140-ish gallon display. I figure they are good for cleaning in and around my coral

I wonder how they know there is 12k in each bottle!
