Poison ivy

If I have poison ivy but I'm taking steroids would it be bad to go into my tank because I would think so but I'm not sure and I got some stuff that I need to do in my tank but it might have to wait

If your using topical I would wash it off your hands/arms. Systemic use shouldn't be a problem as I'm sure many reefers on here take all sorts of medications and stick there hands in the tank. If your concern is the poison ivy itself, your live stock will be fine.

Yeah, I gathered that. Poison ivy won't spread to your fish or coral. The only concern is use of topical creams. So, if using topical, make sure it's washed off your skin.

As I mentioned in the other thread, I'd worry about infection in your skin from the tank water.

I wouldn't be concerned unless your immunocompromised, with infection that is.
