I've read so much from this site over the past several weeks, but finally got the courage up to join today. I had a beautiful 90 gallon reef tank several years ago, but had to sell/break it down due to divorce/move. Lots of things have changed since then. I would still mention my 'old tank' at least twice a month for the past 5 years. The other day, my hubby surprise me with a 300 gallon used acrylic and I've been obsessed ever since. I don't think he 'gets' it yet, but just wait till he sees how everything is alive! (tank is empty for now)
He built a new stand and canopy and I've been wet-sanding and polishing the tank, along with planning/ordering equipment, lights, plumbing.....He thinks I gave him the hard job! I think I will be ready for water by the end of the weekend, then I will order my live rock to cycle. I love the anticipation of it all!
This site is wonderful and I've used so many people's advice just by searching what they've told others. Hope to see you all around for a very long time.
