That's amazing. That was a brutal place to be. It doesn't seem that long ago to me when the last of the WWI veterans started passing en masse. Now it's WWII vets. By the time I go it'll be Vietnam Vets. Blows me away.My uncle saw this flag going up and at the time he didn't think much of it. He was distracted by all the young men down on the beach who would never go home and set up a reef tank. He turned 99 recently.

This is one of the coral that came in on the TBSW live rock.i have no idea what it is, it's a hard coral. The colony is about 1 1/2 to 2 inches across. Anyone have an idea?
I have no idea, but I hope it stays alive and grows! I'm rethinking this tank and may do a full natural looking reef. My wife commented that she really likes the way the tank looks now and it just has the macro algae that came with the rock and the live sand.
I forgot what kind of caulerpa grows in the Caribbean but it’s cool looking.
