Poll: Best Algae Eating fish for a 70 gal. ?

As the question above states , I am looking for an algae eating fish , specifically something that plays well with Clams and other fish . If you have any thoughts or experience with any of the fish above please vote.

Perfect, I totally forgot about the mollies. Those are going into the tank for sure. I have to do some reading on the miller blennies, they do look pretty cool with that mohawk .

Not a fish, but a seahare is the best algae eater, hands down. For a fish, in a 70g, kole or tomini tang.

Depends on the type of algae, but I like the Algae blenny......they are constant algae eaters.

Yep I vote for a sea hare as well. Just donate him to your local members after he's done his job so he doesn't starve. I try to avoid getting fish to do a particular job rather get a fish you like just I case they decide not to do what you expected and then your stuck.

My mollie Miller liked nipping my clam. From your list I would opt for the kole as algae blennies can get lazy, Fox faces can be shy and kole eat algae all day. Saying that mixing it up with different cuc is also a good idea.

What type of algea? I bought a lawnmower blenny in the hope that he would keep hair algae at bay but I've yet to see him eat it. He scrapes film algae off of rocks and glass all day long. I don't believe either of the Tangs eat hair algae. Pretty sure a Foxface will eat anything green.

Hair or top algae ...Yellow Tang all the way - they never stop eating and their nose allows them to get in tight places.
If I pick up a frag from someone - he's there within minutes pecking away at the disc.
