How did you beat bubble algae? I'm at war with it now

It was a long war, I had help from a lot of people on here. It is 100% gone, but the cyano that accompanied it is still bothering me.
- Wash your live rock in flowing water, remove as much as you can (plus that on sand and glass and etc)
- Water change of 15-25%
- Filter media change
- Put it back in the tank and then black out the tank for 2 days (cover it with towels too)
- Again, remove rocks and scrub off the algae
- Again 15-25% water change

This isn't exactly what I did, but it's the parts that (I think) were effective. Share a link to your thread about it (if you have one)

I voted other and the other is humans if they keep hands out of their tanks I find it greatly improves their tanks. I use tongs whenever possible or long tweezers and only put hands in as a last resort.

My biggest catastrophe came from hair algae. But I've have vermited snails, cyano, diatoms, hydroids, flat worms, aptasia, mojano, ich and bubble algae. The bubble algae was the easiest to eradicate with a couple emerald crabs but the rest were all headaches and some near tear down situations. Knock on wood I haven't had to tear down in almost 9 years now.
